Michael Waddell is very proud of being a self-described “southern redneck” from Booger Bottom, Georgia (yes, it’s a real place). He won a turkey-calling contest and from there got into television as a hunter, first in front of the camera, then behind it. His show, Bone Collector, has spawned a multifaceted company that does everything from marketing to licensing, all aimed at “standing up” for hunting culture.
