Joe Rogan Bow Setup and Gear List for Hunting

Joe Rogan is a comedian, actor and life long martial artist practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Taekwondo. He is known for a string of TV and movie appearances, his active career as a stand-up comic, and his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.

He is also known for his wide-ranging interests and opinions on topics from electoral politics, to the legalization of cannabis and psychoactive mushrooms, to who should and should not be allowed to compete in women’s mixed martial arts. Though he generally leans Libertarian, his views do not fit neatly into any established political party and have earned him both supporters and detractors from multiple corners of society.

In recent years, many of his views and opinions have involved hunting. He is a big proponent of killing and eating wild game rather than supporting factory farming (a practice not only considered cruel but also associated with a long list of environmental problems) and has drawn on the guidance and support from some of the biggest names in the hunting world in order to learn how to harvest his meat right.

His hunts have taken him as far as Hawaii, hunting large animals.

And, being an entertainer, he talks about his exploits quite publicly and in his signature brash and engaging style.

Rogan is a newcomer to the world of hunting, and in many ways an outsider to it. He built his audience long before he got involved in hunting, and he remains rooted very much outside the hunting community. That means that people who have never been interested in hunting or, worse, people who have been actively opposed to hunting get to hear and consider his perspective.

Joe Rogan has had many hunters on his podcast including Cameron Hanes, Adam Greentree, Donnie Vincent, Steven Rinella and Remi Warren.

Like it or not Joe Rogan is the face of big-game hunting today.
