John got into archery over 30 years ago by virtue of hunting wild game to provide for his family. In order to improve himself as a hunter he decided to perfect his technique shooting targets. He got so good that this lead him into the world of professional archery. He has been a pro archer since 1997 competing in thousands of events across the world, even representing the USA in competition.
